KUALA LUMPUR, 19 July 2022 — Calling Gen Z’ers (individuals born between 1994 and 2008), Traveloka wants you!
In conjunction the latest “Travel your way with Traveloka” campaign, Traveloka, in collaboration with influencers, such as @elishiaabegail, @kakakqin and @ewanfauzi, wants to take youths to any location in Malaysia, featured in the travel superapp.
All they need to do is follow @travelokamy on Instagram or TikTok, and shout out “Traveloka take me to…” between now to mid-September, and include the hashtag #TravelokaTakeMeAway.
Up to 10 most interesting video content uploaded that complies with Traveloka’s terms and conditions, will be chosen as winners. The winning entries will be rewarded with a 2 Days 1 Night staycation, and a Traveloka Xperience coupon, for them to enjoy the shoutout locations.
In addition to #TravelokaTakeMeAway, the travel superapp is also looking to award Gen Z’ers with tech gadgets, such as an Apple Watch, Apple Airpods and a Huawei Nova 9 through the #MyGangIsBetterThanUrs contest.
For this, Traveloka is going to six universities around Klang Valley – Brickfields Asia College, Help University, Segi Kota Damansara, Segi Subang, Taylors University and Universiti Malaya – to challenge the youths in these universities.
All the participants need to do is to look out for Traveloka’s adwalker, scan and create a 15 to 60 seconds video in the vertical format, on why they think their “gang” or friends are cooler than anyone else’s. The final videos need to be posted on Instagram Story and @travelokamy have to be tagged on Instagram, in order to be eligible.
Participants with the most unique video content, and complies with the contest rules will be selected as winners.
