Enjinstarter, a Singapore-based incubator for promising Web3 startups, announced that it has been confirmed as the presenting sponsor for All That Matter’s inaugural Web3 Matters, on September 26th and 27th, 2022 at *SCAPE Theatre on Level 1.
Web3 Matters is the newest addition to the All That Matters lineup. Organised by Branded and considered Asia’s leading sports and entertainment industry conference, All That Matters has gathered the most influential players across the music, sports, gaming, marketing, and digital entertainment industries for the last 17 years. The event is endorsed and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board and Sport Singapore.
With the recent rise of Web3, the organisers of All That Matters announced that the theme of this year’s conference would be “All That METAS,” and have confirmed partnership with Enjinstarter to lead curation of keynote speakers and brand showcases, demonstrating the opportunities available in the space.
“I’m so excited! Web3 Matters allows us to connect our extensive Web2 music, sports, gaming and entertainment communities with our new Web3 friends. It’s about understanding the impact Web3 will have and Enjinstarter is well-positioned to lead this conversation,” said Jasper Donat, spokesperson for All That Matters.
One of the primary focuses of Web3 Matters is to provide a platform for open dialogue with established brands and large companies around the benefits of Web3 integration. With its expertise in the space, Enjinstarter is well-positioned to lead that discussion and ultimately act as the bridge to Web3.
“Our work at Enjinstarter seeding and mentoring some of the most promising start-ups in the Web3 and Metaverse space puts us on the cutting edge of the inevitable shift towards decentralisation,” said Prakash Somosundram, Enjinstarter’s CEO. “We are looking forward to working with the attendees on their Web3 integration strategies.”
Already confirmed as a keynote speaker for Web3 Matters is Hong Kong-based entrepreneur and angel investor, Yat Siu. Mr. Siu is a co-founder and chairman of Web3 gaming giant and venture capital firm, Animoca Brands, the company behind The Sandbox metaverse. Also confirmed are Willem Dinger, Global Director – Brand Partnerships/Web3/Gaming at Unilever, Dr Loretta Chen, founder of Smobler Studios, and Evelina Lye, founding member of UNTAM3D.
In addition, the event will feature the people behind some of the most successful Web3 integrations by established brands, such as Hugh Koh of Pestle Mortar Clothing, who delivered a street-wear-based NFT collection for iconic beer brand, Tiger. The combination of regional brewing behemoths with clothing via the medium of NFTs demonstrates how elements of Web3 are beginning to seep into the world of brick-and-mortar retail across Asia.
With the growing adoption into Web3 by large consumer brands, record labels and entertainment brands, Asia is primed for massive Web3 growth.
