  • SHOES THAT EMBODY LIFE EXPERIENCES AND TRAVEL, HOME OF CLASSICS SNEAKERS REFLECT HOW ONE MOVES THROUGH THE WORLD –
  • ADIDAS ORIGINALS HAS PARTNERED WITH GLOBAL TRAVEL COMMUNITY TRIPPIN’ TO SHARE THEIR JOURNEYS IN THE HOME OF CLASSICS SHOES –
  • THE PACK FEATURES THE SUPERCOURT, A SHOE INSPIRED BY AN ARCHIVE OF CLASSIC SNEAKERS THAT BROKE RECORDS AND RULES FOR GENERATIONS –

adidas Originals introduces an updated Home of Classics  pack including the most celebrated timeless styles; the Supercourt, a shoe featuring design elements from the archive for a new generation.

Worn-in adidas sneakers are made timeless by the travels and actions of those who wear them, and showcase how shoes built with care embody life experiences. Documenting a range of experiences shared by creators in New York and Tokyo, adidas Originals has partnered with global travel community Trippin to follow creators at in-the-know locations in their cities – wearing iconic silhouettes that reflect the marks of their wearers, and ultimately, the marks these wearers leave on the cultures of their home cities.

The latest Home of Classics pack is composed of shoes that don’t rely on high-tech features, but on the same simple and iconic building blocks: three stripes, white leather, and rubber. Headlining the pack are three new editions of the Supercourt – shoes inspired by an archive of classic sneakers that broke records and rules for generations – whose newest iterations reimagine the white leather tradition with modern colorways, featuring premium leather on the upper and lining and a sock lining in linen to add major excitement.

This Home of Classics launch also features all-time classics like the Stan Smith, Superstar 80s, Continental 80, Rivalry Lo, and A.R. Trainer – sneakers that reflect 50 years of expertise, culminated in a variety of iconic silhouettes. They’re shoes built with care and ready to make new experiences in, like those lived by creators worldwide.

The new Home of Classics pack is available at worldwide on October 17th: www.adidas.com/homeofclassics

With the adidas archive at its foundation, adidas Originals continues to evolve the brand’s legacy through its commitment to product innovation and its ability to filter the creativity and courage found on courts and sporting arenas through the lens of contemporary youth culture. Marked by the iconic Trefoil logo that was first used in 1972 and championed by those that continue to shape and define creative culture, adidas Originals continues to lead the way as the pioneering sportswear brand for the street.

What is Trippin

Trippin is the new voice of today’s creative traveller. At the intersection of sustainable travel, local subcultures, and global heritage, Trippin can be found. Powered by a global community with a common aim of connecting cultures, Trippin’s practice unites an ever-disparate world through travel, technology, and a conscious understanding. Established as a private Facebook group of close friends and tastemakers to trade trusted travel tips, Trippin has since grown into a home of knowledge for global travellers with a desire to navigate the planet in a conscious way. Never acting as the authority on a place, culture or scene, Trippin collaborates with members of their community who are local thought leaders at the emergent edge of their creative discipline, inspiring our understanding of a place in an authentic and honest way.
