KUALA LUMPUR, 3 SEPTEMBER 2025 – Glenfiddich, the World’s Most Awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky1, has unveiled a limited edition Glenfiddich 16-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky, celebrating its multi-year partnership with the Aston Martin Formula One™ Team. Available in September, the exclusive release exemplifies the perfect balance of precision and intuition, reflecting the values shared by both Glenfiddich and Aston Martin. In Malaysia, Glenfiddich presents Club 1959: a series of exclusive takeovers where the precision of elite motorsport and the artistry of fine whisky unite in a singular experience of refined taste.

The Glenfiddich & Aston Martin Formula One™ Team 16-Year-Old Limited Edition is crafted from a carefully selected marriage of American oak wine casks, new American barrels, and second-fill bourbon casks. This meticulous blending process yields a whisky rich in character with distinct notes of maple syrup and caramelised ginger. A silky palate of fresh fruit salad and Chantilly cream builds to a finish that is both smooth and bold, offering a quality that eludes precise measurement, much like the intuitive connection between a driver and their car.
“At Glenfiddich, we’re committed to creating exceptional whiskies that honour tradition while embracing innovation. The Glenfiddich 16-Year-Old is a true testament to this philosophy. It combines craftsmanship and precision in a whisky that invites exploration and discovery, much like the journey of our partnership with Aston Martin Formula One™ Team. It’s a celebration of blending tradition with the thrill of innovation,” said Brian Kinsman, Glenfiddich’s Malt Master.

The Speyside distillery announced an exclusive long-term partnership with Aston Martin Formula One™ Team in November 2024 – bringing together two timeless brands renowned for their heritage, innovation, and relentless pursuit of excellence. The partnership launched at the Las Vegas Grand Prix, where Glenfiddich and Aston Martin Formula One™ Team toasted this new collaboration, which celebrates mastery and design.
“We are thrilled to unveil this limited edition bottling in celebration of our partnership with the Aston Martin Formula One™ Team. Through this collaboration, we invite enthusiasts worldwide to engage with these iconic brands in bold new ways and create memorable moments that reach far beyond the racetrack. This limited-edition bottling is just the beginning as we continue to write the next chapter together,” said Claudia Falcone, Global Brand Director at Glenfiddich.
In Malaysia, the partnership will also be celebrated through Club 1959. Named after a milestone year when Aston Martin first entered Grand Prix racing and an ultra-rarev release of Glenfiddich 1959, a 65-Year-Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky. Club 1959 is a tribute to bold innovation and the timeless craft of both brands.
The first Club 1959 takeover will debut at Whisky House KL on 10 September, where guests will be among the first in Malaysia to taste the Glenfiddich & Aston Martin Formula One™ Team 16-Year-Old Limited Edition. Guests will also have the opportunity to participate in immersive racing simulator sessions and high-speed reflex challenges during our Club 1959 activation. Additional Club 1959 pop-ups will roll out during the campaign period, with updates to be announced on Glenfiddich’s official website.
Glenfiddich and Aston Martin are committed to promoting responsible consumption of alcohol and strongly advise against drinking and driving. Both brands will continue to use this partnership as a platform to reinforce the importance of making responsible choices.
The Glenfiddich & Aston Martin Formula One™ Team 16-Year-Old Limited Edition will be available nationwide in September at a recommended retail price of RM523.90. For more information and the latest updates, follow Glenfiddich on Instagram (@glenfiddichwhisky) or visit the official website.
