PCCW (SEHK:0008) – KUALA LUMPUR, July 29, 2021 – Viu, PCCW’s leading pan-regional OTT video streaming service, is bringing back Keluarga Baha Don for a third season. Season 3 builds on the past two seasons of this award-winning Viu Original with its unique brand of comedy and highly relatable set of pan-Malaysian characters. Keluarga Baha Don has quickly become a vehicle to showcase the comedy talent in Malaysia, with an impressive ensemble joining the cast since the series’ debut in July 2019.
The plot continues with the Dons, a quirky Malaysian mafia family, reluctantly headed by law-abiding son Jo Don (Remy Ishak), whose true passion lies in being a chef. Season 1 picked up awards at both local and regional levels. At the Asian Academy Creative Awards 2019, Keluarga Baha Don took home the award for Best Comedy Programme. Also awarded was Keluarga Baha Don star Jihan Muse, who won the Asian Academy Creative Award for Best Comedy Performance for her role as Kesuma in the series. Meanwhile, the second season of the series was aired in December 2020.
Produced by Anomalous Films, Season 3 picks up from the cliffhanger of the second season whereby Bobby Bachan, played by Fikry Ibrahim, delivered an ominous threat to destroy the Baha Don Family. The actor dials up his zany comedic charm this season with his portrayal of the quirky yet ruthless villain whose sinister ways are sure to spell trouble for the Dons. The 10-episode third season will see Jo Don embrace his inner mafioso to outwit his arch nemesis, along with the return of the series’ star-studded cast featuring Khir Rahman, Jihan Muse, Susan Lankester, Othman Hafsham, Nam Ron, Tony Eusoff and many more. New cast members include Tiara Jacquelina, Elizabeth Tan, Vicha Saywho and Datuk Jalaluddin Hassan, who light up the screen in unique and memorable roles.

The first episode of Keluarga Baha Don Season 3 is now available on Viu, with two new episodes to be released every week on Thursdays.
