KUALA LUMPUR, 8 DECEMBER 2020 – TVB Anywhere Limited – owned by Television Broadcasts Limited (TVB), Hong Kong’s leading TV broadcaster, has launched the Lite Video on Demand (VOD) plan on TVBAnywhere+ in Malaysia. TVBAnywhere+ is a video-streaming application that offers compatibility with different devices. As part of the Lite VOD plan launch campaign, TVB Anywhere is also offering a free, six-month trial to users who sign up before 31st December, and a flat rate of RM4.90/month thereafter, to enjoy exclusive content form TVB Anywhere. The Lite VOD plan also comes with no contract, allowing users to cancel their plan at any time.
The launch also goes in hand with the release of two highly-anticipated series, Impossible 3 (非凡三俠) and Beauty & The Boss (愛美麗狂想曲). The former is a six-episode series that was filmed in Malaysia, featuring a star-studded cast that includes Bosco Wong, Julian Cheung, Chrissie Chau, Moses Chan, Vincent Wong and Samantha Ko. The crime drama follows three strangers who get entangled in a series of mysterious cases, which leaves them in a manhunt involving both the cops and the triads. Malaysian actress Jovane Phang also stars in the drama, which features several scenes in the Klang Valley, including Sunway Lagoon and Petaling Street.
On the other hand, Beauty & The Boss is a romantic and comedy drama, featuring celebrities such as Moses Chan and Ali Li. On-shelf from 14th December onwards, Beauty & The Boss follows the adventures of Wong Lai-mei and her employer, Matt, in their quest to find love, while navigating through the twists and turns of failed marriages, new-found romance and career development.

The former follows Steven Ma’s private interviews with 15 celebrities, including Hong Kong’s top goddess Vivian Chow, as well as long lost celebrities such as Lai Sui Yan, Dicky Cheung, Annie Liu Xin You and many more. The latter features Christine Ng and Bob Lam, who uncover the deepest secrets of celebrities, from a wide range of topics. TVBAnywhere+ Lite VOD plan is also set to feature upcoming exclusive dramas and variety shows including Decretion Theatre (欺詐劇團), AI Rhapsody (智能愛(AI)人) and many more.
