A pioneer sportswear brand for the street, adidas will be unveiling its largest Originals storefront at the epicenter of shopping and entertainment district, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur on 30 June 2020.
Located at Level 4 of Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, the all-new adidas Originals flagship store boasts 4,413 square feet. Striving to forever remain innovative and authentic, adidas showcases a well-curated range of its iconic classic silhouettes to its latest statement collections and designers’ collaborated pieces such as Yeezy and Pharell Williams series, catering to everyone’s lifestyle needs.
The adidas Originals flagship store in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is the first Originals flagship store in Malaysia, and the first of its kind in terms of concept within Asia, the fascinating concept comprising of classic furniture brought together in a modernized way. The concept also known as “The Collection”, features localised element that brought to life by local artists which endorse the uniqueness of this particular store.
Jun Ong reimagines one of Malaysia’s national symbols, wau bulan onto the adidas Trefoil logo, erected elegantly at the storefront, enabling the customers to pay homage to the national identity prior to entering the outlet.
Drawing inspiration from Malaysia’s traditional Batik craft, Jaemy incorporates the exquisite floral elements to design the wau bulan and embeds it onto the store’s cash desk and floor rugs. The synergy between adidas and the artists’ creativity elevates the store interior distinctly and aesthetically, offering a space for intimate interaction with customers and creators alike.

To celebrate the new flagship store opening, the novel wau bulan inspired Batik art will also be spotted on adidas shopping bags, exclusively available at adidas Originals flagship store in Pavilion KL. Shoppers can stand a chance to grab a batik imprint Trefoil logo tote bag with a minimum purchase of RM500 from 1st July 2020 onwards, while stock lasts.
